What exactly is involved in a property viewing tour? And how long should it take?
Tell us what you’re looking for
Before you visit us, we’ll ask you what you want from your Spanish property. Do you want to look at new homes or existing freehold homes? Would you like to be near the beach? And how many bedrooms will you need? Once we hear your ideas and understand your requirements, we can get to work finding the best properties for you.
When you arrive
Whether you want to spend a few days lazing by the pool before you start your tour, or you’re raring to go, we’ll organise a meeting time that suits you and show you the properties that you want to see.
Getting started
Before we start looking at properties, we’ll stop for a chat at one of our offices. It’s a chance for you to see the property selection on our screens and maybe make amendments to your selection. It’s also an opportunity to get to know each other, re-establish what you’re looking for and make sure you’re happy with the plan for the day. We’ll answer any questions you may have and, if you choose, you can meet with an independent lawyer or mortgage broker (in private, of course). If you’re not sure exactly how much you can afford or what options you have, this is a great opportunity to find out.
Get to know the area
The nature of the tour will depend on how well you know the region and what your requirements are. We can begin by showing you round some of the different areas, looking at local facilities, schools, golf courses and beaches – whatever you’d like to see. If you already know where you’d like to start looking we’ll head straight to the properties. Everyone is different, so every tour is different.
